About the Brand

Copine was born from a small collection of handcrafted pieces, built around a simple idea: jewellery that makes a statement but works with any style, any wardrobe, any lifestyle.
The founder, Lilia Khazhieva, has always taken her inspiration from the women around her - friends, her sister, her mother. When she launched the brand eight years ago, those same people showed up: as photographers, models, advisers, and believers. The name came from that. Copine — French for girlfriend. Her first collection was named after them.
Since then, Copine has grown into a brand that keeps exploring and evolving — developing new expressions for a wider audience, with fresh designs and a renewed approach to production. But the core hasn't changed. In a world driven by the pressure to constantly create more, Copine has chosen a slower, more intentional path: small, carefully considered drops, free from seasonal cycles and deadlines.
At its core, Copine is about playful designs for any occasion: minimalist, but always with a touch of colour, unexpected material combinations, and pieces that belong to no particular time of year.

About the Designer
Lilia Khazhieva studied journalism and sociology in Moscow before continuing her studies in Paris. Jewellery was never an intentional plan — it grew from a love of design and drawing, a curiosity about new things, and an inspiration drawn from the women around her.

She still shapes every piece of Copine herself, from the first sketch through to the designs, the materials, the art direction. The way she works reflects the brand she built: deliberate and driven by instinct rather than calendar. Living between Amsterdam and Paris, Lilia transforms what she sees and feels into objects that are small and precise, made to be worn every day.
